Michal Markowski joins the Supervisory Board of LiveChat Software

On December 19, the Extraordinary General Meeting of LiveChat Software has appointed Mr. Michał Markowski as a member of the company’s Supervisory Board, to serve as an independent Board member. Markowski has replaced Andrzej Rozycki, who resigned from the board on November 15, 2017.

Michał Markowski has been proposed as a candidate by Nationale-Nederlanden Otwarty Fundusz Emerytalny, which owns shares of LiveChat Software representing a 5.53% stake at the general meeting.

The new Supervisory Board member has extensive experience in accounting and finances. He served as the director of the Department of Strategy and Analysis at the Warsaw Stock Exchange, where he was responsible for the development of a strategy, which resulted in an increase of the WSE’s stock price by 26%. He also worked at Deloitte Advisory and InsERT. Mr. Markowski has also served for over two years as the chief economist and minister’s counsel at the Polish Ministry of Treasury. Since October 2016, Michał Markowski is conducting M&A transactions at ProService Finteco.

He also served as a member of supervisory boards and investment committees at companies such as Atende S.A., Ulma S.A., Polskie Inwestycje Rozwojowe, Izba Rozliczeniowa Giełd i Towarów, Ventures&Partners.

Within the Supervisory Board of LiveChat Software, Mr. Markowski has joined the Audit Committee.
